The advantage of a good counting book is that it boosts literacy skills, helps readers learn about numbers, and introduces a fun element to the process. COUNTING MONSTER CHEFS belongs to this category.
Something more: The author is also the book's illustrator, who manages to create adorable settings and characters that elicit giggles.
The narrative is both uncomplicated and meaningful, making it perfect for the age group. The words chosen are easy to understand, the significant ones have colour, size, and font emphasis, and are positioned playfully and prominently on the pages. The questions at the bottom of the spreads encourage young readers to stop, think, and find the correct answer.
Language/number association is ideal for young children - it encourages kids to read and count. The publication is a small platform that provides a good learning environment, offering early academic and mathematics concepts while providing an opportunity for authentic interaction between children and parents.
