“A letter can become an extension of your soul if you will it, a trapped part of you that shakes loose whenever someone reads your words.
Some books just feel like they’re written for you and this was one of them. From the magic school setting, to Maeve being a girl who sees the magic in writing, if in nothing else, and the love interest being an ink-stained boy who also plays sad piano ballads, this just felt like my perfect book. Emily J. Taylor knows how to write a book so perfectly meant to be curled up with on a rain-soaked day. 🤍
