The Perfect Couple (Nantucket, #3)

This is my third book by Elin Hilderbrand (although one was really short, not quite novel length.) All three were entertaining, with enjoyable settings and unusual characters. This is billed as Nantucket #3, but I think only because it's set on the island and maybe has a repeat character or two, although I couldn't tell you who they were. So no reason not to choose this as a stand alone. The mystery surrounds the apparent drowning death of the Maid of Honor at a posh island wedding. And there are suspects aplenty. None of them very likable, so I'm not certain I had a favorite for murderer, but at least it kept me guessing. I will confess that the ending disappointed me a tad. I had hoped for a more dramatic or surprising conclusion. But still I enjoyed the read and would follow more by this author. (It also made me want to return to Nantucket where I spent a whole summer as a child, so beware, you may be in for a future vacation after reading The Perfect Couple.)
