A read that had magical realism at its centre. It would seem the main aim was to show how people live with the knowledge of the date of their passing. Although apart from one of the Gold children it didn’t really seem to affect them. The one sibling I felt made a really stupid decision, but I suppose it all comes down to a belief in the unknown.
I wasn’t fussed on the ending, but I suppose some people will appreciate it more, different strokes and all that.
