really liked it

Somehow, despite being the rather huge nerd that I am... this is my first graphic novel. I can't imagine why. It's visual art and verbal art together, in one cohesive entity. Where have I been?!
Anywho... Saga was a great place to start. It starts and ends too quickly and leaves you aghast that you read something clearly proclaiming itself to be merely the beginning before the next chapter exists. The story draws you in, immediately. I love that the story is being told by the child, who is newborn at the outset... so we get to grow up with her, learn with her, cheer for her, mourn with her, love her. The art is imaginative and lovely. The narrative is engaging. The tale is.... barely beginning. Damn you, brand new series that is not
written all at once, so that I can get lost in you from start to finish right NOW! You've hooked me.
