it was amazing

I can't even begin to tell you how good this book was. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. I had issues with the main character, but I like when I have problems with a main character. I enjoy reading about flawed characters. It gets annoying when you read books where the main character is perfect and everybody likes them. The main character in this book goes through a transformation throughout this book and that was really neat to follow. The plot was really interesting and the book went in a direction that I didn't think it would go. While it's a light hearted and hilarious story, it also has a VERY dark tone towards the end. I would HIGHLY recommend this book, but know that there is crude language and perverse humor.

Tiana Outram I really want to read this book, I just read Grasshopper Jungle by the same author and it was so good. Are you planning on reading Grasshopper Jungle any time soon? I would really recommend it.

Edward If you liked Winger, you should read The Marbury Lens and the sequel, Passenger.

Shannonthereader I so really need to read this I saw your videos on youtube/booktube and tbh I love the spine of it so I will have to buy a hard back cover( they probably don't do a paper back but don't judge me..) anyway yeah I love flawed characters also and I like it when throughout the book they reform almost so I will defiantly read this in the near future:)

Did you think Megan would make a good companion for Ryan?

Cecilia So I am currently reading this AMAZING book, and I also had issues with the main character. He is sometimes a little full of himself. The book jacket is just so pretty and even the back of it is just awesome! Jesse I enjoy all of your videos on youtube and I pretty much always agree with your opinion. I almost always listen to your recommendations and I just love your personality! So it would mean a lot to me if you replied to this.

Linh For real. I love this book. It literally make me laugh in one page and bloody tear in the other page. I feel like all the books you read are my favorite book too. Good choice,

Jake Uzee I too enjoyed this book very much. It was easy to read and had a very current tone to it, which I could relate to. I immediately felt a emotional connection to Ryan Dean, which made it even harder to stop reading. I agree with you about having issues with the character, because I had many of my own as well. Though in a way, thats what makes me wanted to read it even more. I did occasionally find some of the humor over the top, and the ending was slightly too harsh for me. Though overall, loved the book and would definitely recommend it.

Faustine same with you here! Definitely enjoyed reading flawed characters that I don't usually like reading about but it made me like the book more somehow in a way! (Think you can understand this about Ryan Dean)
