I loved this book and I relish this series as this is the first series I read completely as a teen apart from Harry Potter! :)

Though J.K. Rowling made the world of Hogwarts and magic imaginable to me; Christopher Paolini made me realize the gravity of decisions and seriousness of adulthood.

The way life changes for Eragon when he meets Saphira, the way Brom helps him through the way in Eragon, the way Eragon accepts his fate, the way Eragon grows from a child to a man is shown in a perfect way!

I had a crush on Murtagh back then! *blushes* *Sigh~My young self~* I was sorely disappointed with his characterization in the movie... You broke my heart director! Anyways... I loved the characters of Katrina, Roran, Angela and her werecat, Arya, the dwarf friend of Eragon whose name I have forgotten and Brom. You've got to adore Saphira too!

I had to wait for the forth book to be launched and I remember the wait and the agony of waiting for Inheritance.

I recommend this series to all kids and teens! Its a high fantasy!
