Debt: The First 5,000 Years

This is one of the best books I have read, ever. After crushing the Myth of Barter in the initial chapter Graeber proceeds to turn almost every one of those thoughts you MUST take for granted to be taken seriously in a debate about economical issues upside down. The anthropological/historical perspective is really refreshing and I am amazed by Graebers knowledge of historical detail. Whereas I find it clearly ideological it is far from dogmatic.
