I think the story itself was decent, but the writing bored me to tears. If it weren't for the fact that I'm probably seeing the movie adaptation with my mom in the next couple of weeks (and that she's reading the book beforehand too), I wouldn't have finished it. the only way I could even picture the characters was going off of what I'd seen in the movie trailers. when I have to resort to that, there's something seriously lacking in the writing.
