The Hallowed Hunt (World of the Five Gods, #3)
by
Like many other readers, this was my least favorite entry in this series of stand-alone but thematically connected adult fantasy novels. I was able to sympathize with and care about the previous book's characters, but I just could't connect with the main characters here. Basically I spent the entire audiobook lost and confused, especially with all the demonic possessions and political ploys in the final third. I found this one much harder to follow or enjoy than the previous two books, but I will admit that could be due to listening via audiobook rather than carefully reading it in hardcopy, so I wouldn't recommend it in audio format if you are casually listening during your work commute over many sittings.
