Though I enjoyed this book, and it did tie in with the previous three books in the series, it still felt like an incomplete story. The whole quartet felt like a series of four incomplete, but enjoyable, short stories. I was left wanting more of a conclusion. However, I suppose Son offered more of an ending than any of the three books preceding it.
