The One (The Selection, #3)

Liked it. Seeing I'm not such a fan of things like gowns, shoes, and tiaras, I could proudly say I liked the book, if not loved it. Given I had completely stood outside my comfort zone, I could say I was not entirely disappointed through the entirety of the series.
Sure I had kind of predicted everything from the start with some of it's cliche ordeals, but what can I say? I'm a sucker for it ;)
TEAM MAXON FOREVER!
Btw, I totally predicted the death of the king. Too bad for the queen though. I liked her.
I'll admit I've grown frustrated with America quite a few times, but who didn't? She's just too damn stubborn and can't make up her mind! But all in all I love the characters. I love Celeste- especially in the last part- I know it was all for show, and I loved how she humbled herself down when she knew it was already a lost cause. That girl has guts!
Rated 4 out of 5, this book isn't entirely bad. I adore Kiera Cass for creating a series as good as this. Looking forward to reading her future works, and hopefully, my reaction would be as good as I this, if not greater.
Aside from the book, I also love the cover, and I would be kind of guilty for admitting the fact that I judge the book from the way it's cover was put up. Admit it, you do too. If I were to rate the cover alone, I'd give it a straight out ten! (Don't bother with five, I'll take the 2 digits anytime!) It just gives out that aura of exquisiteness if you know what I mean.
I recommend this book for everyone who is a fan of the fine cliche. Nothing goes wrong with a little love triangle. It's a dystopian world I wouldn't mind living in, (well, without the castes of course.)
