The other reviews have commented on the things that are wrong with this book - the fact that it focuses on only part of the story, thereby missing most of the most interesting characters. The unrelenting sexism, sexual violence, and coarseness. The bloated writing.
However, it is also still a very good story, one that you want to continue to read to see what will happen next.
