The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime is an odd tale about a boy with some form of Autism. Because he has this social disease he views the world differently and he tells his story in a much more succinct and obvious way. His sentences lack metaphor and prose, and he speaks almost like a five year old would, that is, very simply. You will not be confused as to what he means.
Because of this the story is compelling and mysterious but it is also rather dull. It is a valiant attempt at a mystery novel, and there truly is a shock factor here that all good mysteries should have, but overall the book is almost too simple to enjoy thoroughly. I give it 2.5/5 stars
