Pirog is great with dialogue and pop culture references (it's like a Kevin Smith movie, but on the page) but there are a few too many "yeah, right" moments (apparently there are about nine people in all of Washington state and all are part of Thomas's past), plus each time I left the book I had trouble remembering exactly what was happening. More plot work and Pirog could really have something going.....
