Custer, Sitting Bull and the Battle of the Little Big Horn is a major legend of the American West and Philbrick breaks down the hype and characters.
Why I started this: All I could remember from AP history was that Sitting Bull slaughtered the over confident pretty boy Custer. Time to brush up and dig a little deeper.
Why I finished it: The audio book was a great thing to listen to today as I started a relabeling project in the childrens' room. (The library was closed for a Korean holiday.)
