April 4, 1968: Martin Luther King Jr.'s Death and How It Changed America

A biography of the life and times of MLK and a philosophical analysis of the man and the political issues of his times. The book does share the humanity and weakness of MLK in both his political leadership and personal behavior. A second part of the book is an analysis of the state of "Black America" and an imaginative conversation with MLK on his 80th birthday.
A very good book to read for a deeper understanding of MLK the man and the maturation of his political philosophy.
