After reading this book, I can honestly it is one of my favorite reads of all time.

I have seen this book lingering in the bestseller section of the bookstore for quite awhile now, but was reluctant to pick it up because it being about the circus simply did not interest me. I am a big animal lover/advocate and I know how the circus industry has a reputation of practicing animal cruelty in many forms. This book did have scenes of abuse that broke my heart and made me cry at times, but the story is so beautifully put together that it was well worth it in the end, and made the book more realistic.

This is one that I will most likely read again in the future.
