This book is still brilliant to me! Moore's imagination is off the charts gifted. Anyone could create a story about what Jesus' life was like as a child and growing up learning to be the Messiah. This his his version of events told by Christ's childhood BFF Levi who is called Biff. Biff is resurrected in our current times to write a new Gospel and it is hilarious. I highly recommend this book!

Okay I finished and I have to say I LOVED IT!!! It was really fun to read. I love Jesus (I'm a Christian) but I was not offended by this story at all. I think it was a clever idea to write this story this way. It was funny and engaging. It also made me want to read the Bible version again of the real events. I found myself looking up words, places and things I hadn't heard of before. I loved me some Biff!! LOL He was such a wise ass and he would stomp anybody in the ground over his Joshua. Just a really good book!! So glad I read it.
