Not nearly as funny or as clever as it wants to be. A re-read. And a Newbery winner. And it's interesting. But the main clue was too obvious to be interesting. And I guess that was to hide the layer of mysteries whether about the bomber or thief or ex-wife or whatever. Just didn't care all that much about any of the characters. Or the location. Readable and interesting. But I want more. Especially from a Newbery winner.
