"Fear no evil. Feel no pain."

This book was was my second most highly anticipated of 2015, next to Queen of Shadows. Sarah's writing is so lush and captivating, I really don't know how she does it. This was a much better first book than Throne of Glass, and I'm so excited to see how Sarah will improve this series, just like she did with ToG.

I could see the world so clearly in my head, especially the characters. LET'S TALK ABOUT THE CHARACTERS. Feyre was great, very different from Celaena/Aelin, but they obviously both have a crazy strong will. I LOOOOOOVED TAMLIN. He was just so eofhdfsnlakjleb. Characters like Lucien, hilarious best friends, are often some of my favorites. They add so much humor to serious stories. Rhysand was....I have no words to describe Rhys. I love him. So much. (view spoiler)[When he called Feyre to say bye, I died. AND WHEN HE STUMBLED WHEN HE LOOKED AT HER I IMMEDIATELY SCREAMED OUT "SHE'S HIS MATE." Feyre is a High Fae now, but the mating bond hasn't happened between her and Tamlin yet. So it could be possible that Rhys is her mate and he sensed it before she did???? (hide spoiler)] Sarah's characters always have so much depth and mystery to them, and I think that's why I love them so much.

Overall, I loved this book. The plot, writing, world and characters! I'm so excited to see what happens next. A year without Rhysand will be torture...
