This book was amazing, simply awesome! An almost perfect ending to a great series by a talented author.

Some spoilers ahead.



So first of all...based on the title of the book (Alpha) I knew Greg Sanders had to die. That didn't prevent me from bawling my eyes out several times when it happened. Both her parents have been favorite characters of mine and their sorrow and grief is mine.

Secondly, the whole Marc & Jace thing. I was in a panic for most of the book thinking she was going to choose the wrong man. Then I was in a panic thinking the only way out of this situation was for one of them to die in the final battle. It only occurred to me pages before it happened that maybe Jace would take over Malone's Pride- face palm for me.

As overjoyed and relieved as I am that she picked Marc I am a little bummed that the book ended so suddenly. I wished for a more detailed look into their lives post win. Then I realized that Vincent is leaving it open for a Kaci (with Jace?) series later on and in that event I'll learn all about Faythe, Marc and their little ones. Phew.

Lastly, I loved having a smidge more Michael especially as it featured his wife, Holly. I always thought he was underused and I was happy to see the spotlight move to him a little.

Overall a terrific series that I will definitely revisit in the future.
