** spoiler alert ** This is the book my advanced placement 6th grade class had to read. I of course fell in love with Hazel and Fiver. I remember being a bit traumatized by some of the warrens they visited, and the crossing of the road! oh no! But what a wonderful story. I know now there is much more in the symbolism than us 12 year olds found -- at the time I just thought it was a good story.

Another one of those "I should re-read that" books.
