I got the book but I feel like listening to the podcast would have been enough for this one.

It’s worth reading if it fills a spot on the BINGO card.
The introductory essay so challenged me that I almost gave up on Aristotle’s actual work. But the podcast helped me understand the framework and background, and for the most part I was able to understand what Aristotle said! I am delighted that I was able to follow his genius (other than his grammar sections, but that has more to do with differences in Greek and English), and I even caught some of his humor. His criticism rings true today with few exceptions, which stands the test of almost 2500 years. That is quite a feat! I also loved the three essays at the end. They were all gold in their own ways. But Dorothy L Sayers was the perfect way to wrap up a wonderful work of art. Thanks for encouraging us along the way on the podcast!
