The thread is open for members to post questions for Ms. Nelson to answer on Saturday. Ask away!
Ms. Nelson, I am so glad you were able to join us on the DHASG! I've been a fan ever since I read Dmitry's Closet. I wanted to ask you how you came up with the idea of writing Dmitry's Closet and what you used as inspiration for Dmitry Medlov's character?

My question : who is your favorite author and where do you go to find an inspiration?
Thank you.

Here's my question, as I'm a russian hero vigrin... What makes a Russian hero special/unique/different? <\b>

Ok here's my question: I know you had to put it on hold for personal reasons a while back, but when Is Nikola's and Ivy's second story coming out? and will there be a lot of Dmitry in their book?

Are there any mafia books out there that you have read and enjoyed?

Anyyyyway, onto my question, Have you ever considered writing an m/m (male/male) interracial mob romance? Russian Vory/Black?
Good mob fiction is so hard to find. Add in the m/m aspect and it's almost impossible. Every time I read one that's just 'good', I always compare it to your work and the fact that you would have done it so much better. Have you ever considered it?
Hi everyone! So excited to have Ms. Nelson on the Dangerous Hero Addict Support Group! Thanks to everyone for joining us!

We appreciate you so much for taking the taking out of your busy schedule to engage your readers in this Q&A...
My question is this: In the near future, will you consider writing sequels for: "Finding Opa!", "The Grunt," "Ivy's Twisted Vine" or "The Ugly Girlfriend"?
Thanks for your time :)

Thank you so much. I love writing about this characters because they feel like they speak to the desires of women of the 21sr century.

The World in Reverse () will come ou in November. We even have a cover model. I know this book wil speak to many of the IR relationships out there, but I want it to be great!

Thanks for your kind words. You make me smile so hard it huts. My favorite author is Maya A. I love her and she totally inspires me!!!

You all are truly an inspriation. My inspiration came from black women needing the role that many main stream heroines have today. I wanted to give "us" that voice for once.
We appreciate it. It's so great to have a daydream about a hot, dangerous Russian sweeping a woman off her feet, and be able to picture ourselves in the role!

November!!!
I am so excited. This story is going to be great, but I wouldn't release anything that you wouldn not want to read. It will be out for Thanksgiving and Brock D. will be our cover model. Join my facebook page and get to know him better. You won't be disappointed.

I've heard really good things about the Grunt. That it's very realistic about life in the the US Marines.
What was your inspiration for the book?

I plan to write The World iN Reverse for Ivy's Twisted Vine, The Grunt 2 and then I'll move on:-) Realy excited about that. I'm so glad that you enjoye the books.

I enjoy it too. I have some Russian men who love the book and share it with their circles. They love the dynamics, especially with Naomi!!

Consider your job done, sister. I'm on it!!!

Remember Sopranos? I will be happy to consider it, but only because of you.

Wow! That's an awesome recommendation for the books! They felt totally authentic to me. I do have some interest in Russian culture and I was so impressed at how real your world felt.

Any woman who is a virgin is so precious. She had not given over to the virtues of being a woman yet. We all want you to make the righ choice. Royal was a black female virgin. Virgins in general are great to write about because of their lack of experience with the male species!!!

Awesome! I am so excited! I am so looking forward to pre-ordering them :)
Thanks for answering my question...

That's a great question!

The hardrest character for me to write was Dmitry because I had to show him as a married man. That was really hard for a Alpha male who was rejected.

The hardest book was Saving Anya. I wanted the final book to be big but to show the relationships between the men. Now, I want to write a follow up that brings them all together. Family matters are really hard to write about. But I'm getting it. Work with me on it. I promise to get better!!!!!

I've heard really good things about the Grunt. That it's very realistic about life in the the US Marines.
What was your inspiration for the book?"
My inspiration was my ex-husband Adam and a few great offiers and NCO's from camp lejeune who will always have my heart and my respect!!!

What was your inspiration for the book?"
I get a hundred emails from Marines from my husband's old unit with the same issues. I wanted to make them feel loved and appreciated so I wrote a book about them and their struggles. They loved it, so I was happy. This book was truly about them. I wanted them to feel loved.
The Grunt felt like a very personal book. I was so sucked in emotionally, like I was seeing their life unfold and feeling what they felt.

The hardrest ..."
Poor Dmitry. I really felt for him during this book. You are correct that it hard to see a strong Alpha go through the rejection and stick it out.

Brock D. is a my model and a great friend. He is actually a former Army Ranger. Yes, he is HOOTTT. I know that you'll like the book trailer and book cover. I picked him for you. I hope that you like it. It's going to be full of fun.

The Godfather has been my BOOK. I love it and I have read the manuscript like 100 times. I love the complex duality of family and business. Amazing work.

Guidelines for Q&A Session:
1. Let’s remember that the author is giving us some of their valuable time, and treat them respectfully. No bashing, no slamming, no snarking. Any posts found to be disrespectful will be deleted.
2. Please remember that the best way to get questions answered is to ask them clearly, so the author understands exactly what it is you want to know.
3. Please ask your question in bold so that they stand out. All other chat should be kept in normal font.
4. If you have a question, check to make sure it hasn’t already been asked. We don’t want the author to have to repeat herself/himself and we don’t want you to feel like you’ve been ignored, either.
5. The winner of any books, bookmarks, or other items given away will be chosen by the author and any personal information should be exchanged in PMs. All decisions are final.
6. And the most important guideline of all - let’s have fun!
