No-one has ever accused me of planning ahead and now is no exception.....

I am trying to put together a web site for the new book.

If you have contributed and would like an entry on the web site this is what you need to do :

PM me : The title of the PM MUST be "Group Book Entry"

If you don't call it that it might get buried.


You can give me any or all of these details :

1. A short blurb about you, your books, your pet terantula. (I'm not going to proofread this so any embarrassing typos will get on your page)

2. An Amazon link to ONE of your books (the amazon book code would be super!)

3. A link to your Blog/Website. In full. (My / key is nearly worn out).

4. A facebook/twitter/email link. I have no idea what a valid twitter/facebook link looks like so make sure it is right because I'm not going to test them. Only put an email address if you are happy for it to be seen on the web page.

Of course you don't have to provide all (or any) these things and I am open to a bit of flexibility.

The only problem is that I only get to upload details in the evening and I think the book is almost upon us so please make my life easy ....

Don't post your info on this thread because I probably won't be bothered to lift it and post on the web site.



I am waiting for Ignite to completely rewrite my web site then I will put a link up.....

Once I have updated the website I will PM you a link to your page.

Hmm, you can use this thread to pester me if I don't get back to you (very possible situation!)

When do you want this by? I'm presuming as soon as possible but is there an absolute deadline?

Well as soon as possible please. I haven't been told when it is going to hit the bookshelves but I will not have access to any web development tools next week so before Sunday or it have to will wait a week.

Just giving this a bump. If you can get info for me in the next couple of hours it will be put on tonight.

It would be nice if as many author pages as possible have a page up when I release the web address.

Anyone who hasn't given me detail by Sunday will be likely to miss the boat on this one. The web site is officially 'Awesome dood' so there will be gnashing of teeth if you have to wait an extra week to get your page on......

The web site seems to be stable.

Quite a lot of authors still haven't given me any details to add to their page. This is a risky strategy because I don't know the launch date but will probably not be able to update any pages after Sunday AM.

I am expecting a flurry of twitter/Facebook/Google+ activity as soon as the book is launched (my little helpers are poised to make it go with a bang) if your profile on the book web page is not set up by then you might well have missed the opportunity, so help me out here and take a look at the first post in this thread. As soon as I have set your profile up I will give you a link so you can check and amend stuff.....

I am updating now so if you get it to me I can do it straight away.

31 authors in the book. 15 have given me details so far.

If I don't get anything from an author they will still have a page but will miss out on a nice pretty picture of their book, an amazon link and other goodies.
