I finished the book a few weeks ago and loved it. While the movie was good, it didn't have the sane connection, in my mind because the book is a mother trying to make her daughter see that you can continue to live after you've lost your soul mate. The movie is more centered on a mother coming back from losing her soulmate and the daughter being an angry teen.

The movie brought me to tears. I even cried reading Dear John. If I read anymore Sparks books I will be dehydrated..lol

Sounds like a Lifetime movie, lol. Sometimes that's what I'm in the mood for, though. May have to add it to my list.

This is my favorite Sparks book! I read it in one sitting. I was balling my eyes out. The movie was good, but couldn't capture the emotion that the book had.
