Has anyone else signed up for the 2013 Reading Challenge? How many books do you think you can get through this year? How will you carve out the time?
I have challenged myself to read 50 titles - nearly one a week! How will I do it? I don't know; that's why I'm asking for tips from you, veteran readers. Help a librarian out, here!

Meredith | 1 comments Going for 100 this year. Several of those will be junior and photography books which can be done in one sitting. Working close to home gives me the luxury of curling up in my recliner with a good book on lunch, and I read a few hours each night before I go to bed to relax. It's a routine that keeps me in check. Above all else the rule I follow the most is if I don't like it I don't read it! I read things I enjoy much faster than things I force myself to complete. Good luck on your 2013 challenge!

One thing I will be doing is adding more fiction to my reading list. I love nonfiction but it can be slooooow going.

Ann Stevens | 1 comments Turn off the television set! I read more than 50 books last year -- likely closer to 150 titles, though I work only part time. But television is not in my life and that is why I am able to read so much.

Christine This year I'm challenging myself to really savour what I read, rather than going for quantity. I'm trying to read more modern fiction, though my heart lies with literary travel.
