I read this book before a trip to South Sudan a few months ago. The book is very well-written but it is quite dark. I do recommend it but expect to be a bit depressed.

I chose it for this week because the author interviewed a 'Lost Boy' and based the book on his story. After traveling to the region I can say that this story resonates with many of the men who I met. It was amazing how similar their stories were to the protagonist in the book.
