Bea Subject to change, but here is my plan today:

Chronologician
1980- Answer as a Man by Taylor Caldwell
1981- Eyes of Darkness by Dean Koontz
1982- Cinnamon Skin by John D. MacDonald
1983- Escape the Night by Richard North Patterson
1984- Lord of the Dance by Andrew M. Greeley
1985- Exit to Eden by Anne Rice writing as Anne Rampling
1986- Presumed Innocent by Scott Turow
1987- Beloved by Toni Morrison
1988- Manhatten is My Beat by Jeffery Deaver
1989- The Big Killing by Annette Meyers

These are all books on my home shelves so I will not get stuck waiting on library books as I did with LLL. Also, I have several options for some years, so I am reserving the right to change my mind on the specific book depending on my mood when I get to it. I have included some quick reads and several big books so that I don't get bogged down with all 400-500 page books, which will make me tend to abandon the list.

BUT... I plan to complete this challenge with bells on!

Nick (doily) | 449 comments I'm new here. I enjoy setting a mini-challenge up for myself every now and then. I've checked out this site in the past and it looks like fun so.... Maybe by posting and keeping track of progress, etc., I might actually finish one.

1951 Foundation
1952 Mrs. McGinty's Dead

Nice list! I think Krapp's Last Tape doesn't meet the minimum page requirements - the most popular edition is 48 pages, but maybe Elizabeth can confirm that on world cat and update if needed.

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14074 comments Liz is correct that the most popular edition is less than the required minimum. (And welcome, Nick!)

Louise Bro | 477 comments I will definitely (maybe) be completing the task this time around!
I was going for Hugo winners from 1951 onwards, however it turns out that there are a few misses where no Hugo winners were published that year. I've tried to fill those spots with good sci-fi, am anxious to see if I chose wisely...
Here is my plan:

1951: Foundation by Isaac Asimov

1952: The Space Merchants by Frederick Pohl & C.M. Kornbluth

1953: Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

1954: They'd Rather Be Right by Mark Clifton & Frank Riley

1955: The Inheritors by William Golding

1956: Double Star by Robert Heinlein

1957: The Midwich Cuckoos by John Wyndham

1958: The Big Time by Fritz Leiber

1959: A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter M. Miller

1960: Deathworld 1 Harry Harrison
