I found the two parts to be very different from each other in many ways (and of course there were many similarities as well.)
I'm very glad there was a Part Two to this story. While I tremendously enjoyed Part One, I felt that Part Two sort of "wrapped-up" the whole story.
Anyone else?

I haven't read all of Part Two yet, but his appreciation for Shakespeare, mythology, and grand legends is clear throughout. I'm curious to see how he wraps it all up at the end.

I have been enjoying part 2, but I occasionally get a little frustrated with the lack of momentum. It really just needs to be read as poetry in many parts rather than as a 'story'. I enjoyed the whole paper currency scene with the Emperor and his advisers, but that also seems to have been abandoned without a real conclusion.

Whitney, I agree that there are many scenes (in both Part I and Part II) that are left abandoned without a conclusion.
Jim, I also loved his appreciation for Shakespeare, mythology, and the great legends.

A mystical place with Paris and Helena ends with a bang�
