Daniel Pinkwater who is mostly a children's author, wrote a book for adults called the "Afterlife Diet" in which he poked at the diet industry, being fat and other things. In this book for kids, he takes that same concept and pares it down to it's bare message that at first may have you feeling deja vu, gritting your teeth or some combination. You will laugh by the end and be cheering these kids as they debunk, tear down and otherwise show the truth about the diet industry, medical science, and being fat.
