It's time to start looking at the Caldecott contenders for the 2014 medal. What do you think about these books?

I do see that the copyright date is for 2012, but from everything I can tell it was published on 02/26/2013. That should still make it eligible for the Caldecott in 2014. I could be wrong. Does anyone else know?

Stardines was just released. I believe it qualifies for the 2014 Caldecott. I absolutely love this book.

Jen | 1 comments Have read everything but Sardines...can't wait to get my hands on it. I loved The Dark and Nelson Mandela. Have you *read* Bluebird yet? Very powerful.
