Sarah | 1467 comments I am so bummed right now. I had written down a list of my next three A-Z challenges all to clear books from my shelf and I can't find it. Gotta keep looking. Man it took a lot of work.

message 7: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 1467 comments Yes! Found my list.

message 8: by Anima (new)

Anima Miejska | 1698 comments Great, Sarah, I'm really frustrated when my book lists gone missing :)

message 9: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 1467 comments Yeah. I had a huge list of my tbr that I had lost but when I joined ŷ I was able to add what I remembered and the list has now grown exponentially:)

message 10: by Cathie (new)

Cathie (catitude) | 1511 comments Nice new 2nd list Sarah.

message 11: by Anima (new)

Anima Miejska | 1698 comments I don't know some of the books on your second list, so I will gladly use it as a recommendation :), I loved Neverwhere, one of my all-time favourites.

message 12: by Cathie (new)

Cathie (catitude) | 1511 comments Um...Sarah, do you realize you have Xingu on both lists?

Nice job Sarah! I have my second A-Z Challenge ready to go to, but haven't posted yet. I'm working on my third and may steal your idea to pull things off my shelves. I have a bunch of books that I've bought over the years and not read yet.

message 14: by Michelle (last edited Jun 20, 2013 09:21AM) (new)

Michelle | 42 comments My intension was to only use books from my shelves for my A-Z challenge, but then I would see others post these great books and out I went to get more! I am mostly using previously owned books, but some I have just purchased. My next challenge will truly be from my shelves, except Q and X which I have nothing for. Great job, love your new list!

Sarah | 1467 comments Cathie wrote: "Um...Sarah, do you realize you have Xingu on both lists?"

Yes- but they overlap by a month and that is when I plan to use the X for both challenges in Janaury. Plus I have two more A-Z challenges after these already planned and I am so done dealing with X.

Yeah the only two books not already on my book shelf is Queen and Xingu - oh yeah - and The Zombie Room. I think it is fair for X to just be anywhere in the title.

message 17: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 1467 comments Ha ha I forgot my Y - adding it now

message 18: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 1467 comments Just changed my M for next year to Mudbound by Hillary Jordan , was Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris .

Nice list, Sarah. I can never stick to my list when I plan it ahead. I usually end up swapping out a few books. Q is going to be tough to find something you want to read.

message 36: by Misha (new)

Misha (itz_mie) | 365 comments read 3 out of your list, Midnight's Children was a great one, albeit a slow read. happy reading :-) :-)

message 37: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 1467 comments Well I have to admit I didn't finish last year's challenge by one book - Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke - it is a monster of a book and I started but still need to finish.
