As the year continues we find more and more excellent books eligable for the Caldecott.

That Is Not a Good Idea! by Mo Willems That Is Not a Good Idea! by Mo Willems

Flora and the Flamingo by Molly Idle Flora and the Flamingo by Molly Idle

Have You Seen My New Blue Socks? by Eve Bunting Have You Seen My New Blue Socks? by Eve Bunting

and

Bear and Bee by Sergio Ruzzier Bear and Bee by Sergio Ruzzier

Could any of these be a possible Caldecott?

Holly Mueller (hollymueller) | 9 comments Just finished That Is Not a Good Idea! So cute and funny! Willems always has a surprise up his sleeve! I ADORE Flora and the Flamingo and Idle's new one, Tea Rex. Both are endearing and delightful!

Holly Mueller (hollymueller) | 9 comments Have You Seen My New Blue Socks is really cute. I loved the expressions on the animals' faces. This books will make you feel better about the sunglasses that are sitting on top of your head as you search for them frantically. ;-)

I thought Flora and the Flamingo was darling. Who doesn't like Flamingos?

Paula I've only read Mo Willems' That Is Not A Good Idea. I loved it and pretty much anything he writes. It would be nice to see him win.

Joanne Rubenstein | 8 comments I had the best time with That is Not a Good Idea with my classes K-4. My student teacher designed her demo lesson around this book and got the first job she applied for.
There us so much to live in this book.
