I'm with you and have never read Anne of Green Gables. Seabiscuit I bet will be a hard read with all the politics of horse racing. I did enjoy the movie.

message 226: by Cathy (new)

Cathy (granniepurpyl) I can't do it. I just can't do it. This book is so boring to me. I don't care about books about animals. I don't like horses or horse racing. I've been trying to read this book for a f2f group, but I give up. There are so many books that I *want* to read, I don't want to spend time reading something I don't like. My first DNF for 2014.
