I am currently reading Something Borrowed by Emily Griffin, the book is great, the movie was not nearly as great as the book is so far.

Decided I better brush up on my Breaking Dawn (again)

Thought i'd read the last hp book. . Going to be so sad when i finally finish it :(

I'm just over halfway through The Eye of the World it's really good but I just finished book 5 in George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series and I'm still so hooked on those characters that I find myself thinking of them and what they would do while I'm reading this new series.

You will fell in love with Fallen.Tormnet (the second) might not be as good as the others but the whole series are worth it.Passion (the third)is the best.

I am in the second book of the Immortal series by Alyson Noel named Blue moon... and I am not impressed!!
I don't think I can find a true love story to be that perfect as the one of Bella and Edward!!
...Twilight continues to own my heart!!!

I started L.E. Modesitt Jr.'s PRINCEPS, but went back to reread the first book of the Imager Portfolio, IMAGER. It isn't as dry as books 4 & 5. Much of SCHOLAR and PRINCEPS are pure administration. I've already read IMAGER once and listened to it twice.

The Amulet , by Alison Pensy

Picked up John Creasey's/J.J. Marric's Gideon detective series where I left off. It's a splendid example of the age when mysteries depended on good detection and not on gruesome thrills.

I just finished re reading reckless magic. I really like it. if you liked twilight you will probably like this and you can get it free on the kindle fire

Listening to Wilbur Smith's RIVER GOD, which is pretty long, interrupted by the audio of Arthur Upfield's AN AUTHOR BITES THE DUST. I highly recommend these Inspector Bonaparte mysteries that bring to life Australia of the 1940s and 50s. I just finished reading Jayne Ann Krentz's LOST & FOUND, which I knew would leave enough of my day free to finish the Upfield.

Marcia Muller's CITY OF WHISPERS. Half way through and checking around for the next one in the series, but it's apparently not announced yet.

Gaston Maspero's THE STRUGGLE OF THE NATIONS, a resurrection of an 1896 study of the ancient empires that fought back and forth across the Middle East. 788 pages of tiny print - clearly I will be pausing to read other things!

I am reading hallowed by cynthia hand it is so good it is the second book of the unearthly series really a great book...has its sad parts though...and some romance hidden in there.

Listening to an audio book that just came out on audible.com: DESIREE by Annemarie Selinko, about a youthful fiancee of Napoleon. I've read it many times over a lifetime, and now I'm loving the audio. :-)

I am waiting for Cold Days by Jim Butcher to come out on Nov 27. In the meantime I have been reading the Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne.

I'm reading The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, I haven't even read a forth of the book and am already in LOVE with it!!

The Berrybender Narratives

I am currently reading The Berrybender Narratives by Larry McMurtry but saw The Host today. the movie made me cry more than the book did. Did anyone else cry also? When I read the book I only cried at the end of it.

MEMOIRS OF HADRIAN by Marguerite Yourcenar. An amazing creation from 1951. A Frenchwoman put herself so thoroughly into the head of the philosopher Roman emperor that it's difficult to remember this isn't really Hadrian.

I just read FALLEN by L. N. Green that I got on amazon for 99 cents. It was AMAZING! Check it out. For 99 cents what do you have to lose?
