Lawyer (goodreadscommm_sullivan) First, my thanks to Dan for his invitation to this group.

I am Mike Sullivan, a retired attorney. I reside in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where I have lived most of my life. I attended the University of Alabama and the University of Alabama School of Law.

Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ has been an essential part of my life for several years. I am a frequent reviewer.

In February, 2012, I founded "On the Southern Literary Trail" http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/6... . Our membership has grown to 538 members.

Consider this your invitation to join us. Whether you prefer Faulkner, O'Connor, McCullers or more recent authors of Southern Literature such as Clyde Edgerton, Tom Franklin, William Gay, or Mark Childress, this is the place for you. We have two group reads per month. Reads are based on member nominations and polls. Discussions are always interesting.

I encourage authors among our membership to participate in giveaways to promote their work. I strongly believe in supporting new voices in Southern Literature.

What I can do for you as an author: I am available as a reader and reviewer. If you are writing in the crime genre, consider me a resource. I was a career prosecutor for twenty-eight years, handling child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, and homicide cases, including capital murders. I served as the Executive Director of a domestic violence and sexual assault services program for approximately four years.

Feel free to visit our group home page, our bookshelf, and our archives. You'll find me there as "Lawyer Stevens," Faulkner's literary lawyer, along with two very talented moderators.

You are welcome to peruse my library shelves and reviews. My reading is quite broad, with a healthy dose of Southern Literature, of course.

I welcome friend requests and enjoy corresponding regarding reads, recommendations, and questions.
