As long as the page count isn't as high as Les Miserabs. That thing has 1400 pages!

It kinda depends on how good the plot of the book sounds. But I agree with Jolie, a book with almost 1000 pages most likely won't make it on my currently-reading list.

For me it does. I like reading books anywhere from 300 to 500 pages on a daily basis. I wouldn't do something like 1000 pages and anything less than 230 i shy away from

I will read any page count really. I had a book once that was like 1500 pages because it was really three books in one, but it is one of my all-time favorites

I don't like reading big book's because I feel like they take me forever to read and that I never get any progress done and I just want to get to the end! XD But I'm up to read anything.

No but since I am considered the most book obsessed kid in my grade I find I have to set an example by reading long books. I'm a very proud nerd.

It does if no one has recommended the book to me. I tend to read something someone says 'I have to read' bc even if I don't like it, it's still fun discussing it.

I just saw a statistic that readers on Oyster are 20% more likely to finish a book if the chapters are short. Don't know what is defined as short but I can definitely say I look to see how long a chapter is before I start it...

When I'm getting tired or close to stopping I definitely read 1 more if its short but if its long I just stop and close it right there. I wish I didn't but its true!
