This folder is the place where you can talk about the hot topics--the current events--of the bookish community at the moment. Instead of broad topics like "ebooks vs. physical books," there will be more narrow ones that pertain to specific books/movies/events/announcements that a lot of people are discussing online at the moment.

Create Your Own Topic
If you have a topic you are just dying to discuss with others, please feel free to create a thread for it! I and the other moderators will probably not hit all the topics you are interested in discussing, so having you members create topics would help out a lot.

Spoilers
Some of the topics posted will include really popular books at the moment. I'm going to leave it open to spoilers, so be aware that some people may be discussing very specific parts of the books.

There's not much to the Hot Topics folder, but do you have any suggestions to make it a more fun part of the group? I'm open to any and all suggestions!
