Sheena Davis (sheenad) I'm just starting to read now. how far along is everyone? Any thoughts so far?

Phrynne I finished it and did not rate it highly. I found it very confusing - too many paradoxes - not enough explanation. Books about time travel are one of my favourite genres but this one did not do it for me.

Sheena Davis (sheenad) I'm almost 100 pages in.

I too am really struggling to wrap my head around the science especially as there so little in the way of explanation about how all these different versions have come to being. I love Sci-fi but often struggle with temporal paradoxes so wondered if it was just me.

I'm trying not (it's not easy sometimes) to think about the temporal aspects and paradoxes, simply accept that there is a good and valid explanation (that will hopefully be explained later) and focus on the story.

The interactions of "Suit" with his other versions is an interesting idea and I am enjoying the relationships between the multitude of characters. At several points I've found myself wondering how my current self would relate and interact with both younger and older versions of me.

I'm very curious to find out how it all works out in the end.

Christopher (this_wicked_tongue) I was very much looking forward to reading this, so much so that I think I possibly ended up over rating it. It wasn't entirely what I expected, though saying that it is usually good to be surprised and not get the obvious all the time. I thought it was a very good idea for a plot, though I found it hard to empathise with the main character. I found some of it a bit hard to follow, but I do like to read a book where I'm not being spoon fed everything and it allows me to think for myself and form my own conclusions, which I believe this one does.

You are right about the spoon feeding. No one could accuse this author of that!!!
