As for names, I really stink at coming up with names so I'm hoping one of you is more creative than I.
Does anyone have any preference on how we choose our extra words? Do we want to coordinate our choices or just everyone pick at random? In previous rounds, my teams have coordinated and come in 2nd place but I up for whatever you guys want to do :)

I third it - we are gonna win!!
I will have to think about blue names.....

It seems to have worked well for me in the last two rounds anyway. Towards the end it is almost inevitable to have claimed an item called though. That is where real luck comes into play. Just a side note, I have been on the winning team the last 2 rounds, which is why I want a hat trick.

Happy to have Jennifer as our Captain.
I was trying to come up with some play off of Blue Fairy and found a really cool image, but for some reason I couldn't paste it. Oh well.
Just an FYI, I started a full time job today, so my computer time is limited to early mornings and after work and weekends. This is a huge change for me. Please bear with me. I am excited about the team challenge and making this work.

Also, I am good with the system of starting out picking our own items and then as the weeks progress we will have to coordinate. And I am good with winning as well!

The only thing that keeps popping into my head for a team name is Blue Bells or Blue Jays - IDK why? I'm so bad at names, lol.
I'm fine with whatever way we decide for picking the extra words each week. I've done it both ways ~ there are pros and cons to both :)

Thanks, Melissa - I did a little bit better today than yesterday. It's a lot to learn! I am a case auditor for a bankruptcy trustee law firm.Really high learning curve for me.
I don't know why, but I like Blue Man Group. Or we could be the Blues Sisters!

Blue without Books definitely describes me when I get down to only having 10 or so checked out from the library. I feel like I have nothing to read even though I have hundreds loaded onto my Nook, Kindle, and my "real, tangible" bookshelves at home.
I am such a book hoarder that my parents got me my first ereader to keep me from requesting bookshelves for Christmas and birthday presents. I have since upgraded it to two tablets and now just keep downloading free/cheap books even though it is going to take me years to actually get around to reading some of them. I still prefer having an actual book in hand.

I like Azure Angels, The Blue Man(Sisters) Group or Blue without Books.
@Leslie - your job sounds like it would be really interesting - hope it's fun - well as fun as work can be :)

Happy Birthday to your daughter, Dusty.
And I completely understand your book hoarding impulses, Turtlecollector. I think that's why I like my tablet, I can hoard and no one knows!!
When do words get called?

Hope her day is loads of fun :)

Hubby would say I'm one book away from a hoarder's episode and he has no clue how many I have in ebook format, lol :D
What he doesn't know can't hurt him!!

I will check tomorrow morning before work and then try and check at lunch time. But I won't have time to look for a book until tomorrow night. Please bear with me as I learn how to juggle work and GR! Not sure how people do it.

That title has to go to me. I forgot to call my nephew on his birthday, Monday the 20th, when I made a big deal out of him remembering to call me on my birthday last week. We have birthdays only a week apart.

Leslie it takes some time to get used to dealing with work an gr. I work full time at Walmart, deal with two boys, two dogs, an try to read, plus stay up to date on gr. Its hard but I try my best.

Thanks for the encouraging words, Dusty! ( I forgot you and Dawn were sisters). I'm determined to make this work.
Freezing here in Shreveport. Hard to make myself go start the car.

@Leslie - you'll figure out a way that works for you :)

I've picked a book - not sure what all words I'll claim yet. Has both dog and wind. Will figure out rest of items tonight when home

I will be reading

Haven't decided on other items yet"
Bonus is Wing not Wind

Angie, I just want to make sure you understand fictional place. Here's what Dawn has to say about it...
26. Fictional Place A place that does not really exist in the setting of your book. For Example the Emerald City is a fictional place and in most books a reference would work. However, if you are reading The Wizard of Oz it is a real place for those characters so it wouldn't count in that book.
You probably already know this but Fictional Place and Fictional Character have me worried that they are going to be really hard to find :/

Angie, I just want to mak..."
I'll ask Dawn, it's only mentioned in the book 6 times. It's referenced as place beyond the human world.

Items I can also claim:
Hunter, Thief, Bother, Sister
Dream, Long Hair, Nudity, Story, Wind, Unusual Name (Etienne), Short Person, & I will have to read the book to see if I can claim Fictional Character or Fictional Place
Shoe, Tree, Mattress, Key, Lamp, Apple
