Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments I've stumbled across a few questions on the free pass throughout the game so thought I'd explain it in more depth :)
I'm showing all teams have earned their free pass.
In order to have earned it all members of a team had to be finished and reviewed by a day ahead of the new roll.
I've put the free pass in post 1 of each team's thread under your names.
If ever a Thursday or Sunday rolls around and your team is still missing a review(s) you can use your free pass to go ahead and roll and advance on the board.
There's no time limit as to when you can use it but once you've used it it's gone.
You can only earn it once throughout the course of the game as well.
It's NOT an extra roll its just a free pass to roll if you're team didn't get all of their reviews in on time.

Feel free to ask any questions you might have as well :)

Turtlecollector Dennis If a team uses their free pass to roll, that means the team member who hasn't posted their review needs to post both reviews(the one they missed and the new book from the roll) before the team can roll again, correct?

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments Just the new one. When using the free pass it nullifies the missing review.

Thanks.

Turtlecollector Dennis Team Four Finalists are going to use our free pass. I looked at Lindy's activity and it doesn't look like she's been on GR since the last roll and I usually see her around often. She hasn't responded to my PM yet either.

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments Ok, yeah I see her around a lot too. Hope everything is ok.

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments I went and randomly selected some of the alternates from the alternate list and posted them under a spoiler tag in the alternate post of each team's thread (post 3 I think?). These will be the alternates for the win. I know we're not quite to that stage but it is getting closer to it.
So for the win you would have to read whatever spot you'd of landed on if the board went past 75 (i.e. on spot 72 and you rolled a 5 you'd be on spot 77 so it would be a 7th, 77th (does that even exist lol) or the alternate for spot 77).

Here's the alternates that are under the spoiler tag on your team's thread

76. keepers
77. Author: R
78. Location: Arizona
79. Title: E
80. Color: Pink
81. Color: Orange

Paris (pah13) | 4285 comments If there was a series that had 77 books in them, I'd think the author was nuts. lol

For the life of me I cannot remember, but do zeroes only count as stand alones or do they work for book 1 as well?

0's are stand alones
1's can also be a stand alone or book 1 in a series

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments Standalones for 0's

Sue Morris | 1095 comments Hey Jenne if you are on 51 that means you read alt for 51, a 5th series for the 5 , a standalone or a 1st in series for the 1 right?

Oppppps .... maybe I should read up before I talk.....lol

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments Here's the current standings, we could possibly have a winner this Thursday if team 1 and or 2 roll big enough

4 55
5 61
6 60

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments Team 2 rolled past 75 today. If they're all reviewed by Sunday they'll win.

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments With the game more than likely ending this last roll. What are everyone's thoughts on jumping back in asap? It would mean the end of the game would possible run into June. I know summer is a busy time with vacations and kids off of school. If we were able to fire it back up in two weeks (time enough for sign ups and teams formed) It would probably for sure be early-mid June when the game ended. I'm open to any suggestions and possibly maybe having a list of back up players or some other alternative if anyone has a vacation scheduled. Or we could just do the SS once a week version?

Turtlecollector Dennis I would be interested in the SS once a week version, but I don't think I could do SSS again right away.

Paris (pah13) | 4285 comments I would be into doing SSS again right away. Let me know how I can help.

Sue Morris | 1095 comments I am ready to do the next round now....lol I want both...but encourage players to sign up "only" if they can forfill the requirements on time...it is not fair to others on team to make them wait.....

Congrats Second to None on winning!!!!!

I'm with Turtlecollector - I may have to participate in SS during the summer instead.
