Jessica Just had an idea that the mods should make some threads on some basics that some people don't know how to do on GoodReads like GIFS and putting book images in comments.

I'd love'd to learn to how to do that it looks pretty cool.

Hey, I was wondering about making a folder, "Writer's Corner" and it'll contain all writer stuff, like advertising, threads about basic stuff. They're lots of people here who are writer :D Like me! :P :) :D :D I love writing! And I am sure a lot of people in this group too, so don't you think that'll be nice?

Rachel (APCB Reviews) (gr8rach) | 8842 comments Mod

Okay, another question. Just got another message from a confused user. She keeps inviting 13 people, but only 3 gets received. She's asking, Why?
I am saying that the number of invitations depends on your activity on the group. But should there be any other reason?

Tinath,
The Wild and Funky One.

message 14: by Rachel , The Attentive One (new)

Rachel (APCB Reviews) (gr8rach) | 8842 comments Mod
what does she mean by "three get received"? Only three are allowed to send? Or only three of her friends join? If it's only sending 3 invites it must be because of activity level.

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

No, Jenny says only 3 gets received. It's because of her activity right?

message 16: by Rachel , The Attentive One (new)

Rachel (APCB Reviews) (gr8rach) | 8842 comments Mod
yes that's correct

message 17: by Erin (new)

Erin Vastag I have a question about books. You know how there are so many different editions of books. Is the story different in any way?

message 18: by Rachel , The Attentive One (new)

Rachel (APCB Reviews) (gr8rach) | 8842 comments Mod
No not really. Sometimes they just change the cover. Each edition is just the wave in which they print out a mass production of the book. Sometimes they add little features to editions but it's still the same story.

message 19: by Ken (new)

Ken (kensamcampo) For tv shows maybe you should have a thread for buffy the vampire slayer and one for walking dead and for switched at birth?

message 20: by Erica (new)

Erica (ericaevernight) I've never seen those shows be4

Says Erica, the sparkly and bright one

Ken (kensamcampo) Erica wrote: "I've never seen those shows be4

Just to sum buffy up it's about a high school girl who is really a slayer and she kills vampires. it's pretty good.

walking dead is about the zombie apocalypse.

switched at birth is about two girls (bay kennish and Daphne Vacquez) who get switched as babies and it's about how they meet and stuff. daphne is friends with this hot motor cycle riding guy named Emmett. Bay goes to a school called Buckner Hall, while Emmett and Daphne go to a school called Carlton School for the Deaf. Daphne's school is the only deaf high school in the town that Bay and Daphne live in. Daphne is deaf and can speak, she has to read people's lips to understand them and she has a hearing aid. Emmett is also deaf, but he cannot speak. Bay is hearing and she is having to meet her real mom, but Bay's dad left the family.

(I'll just copy-paste the message)
Thia is a review from a member of the group, Amy. She has to leave Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ, and with her permission, I had posted her review of this group.
Understanding you are the member of this group, I trust I could give you the feedback of the group...
I have to leave Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ, due to personal reasons. I am giving a feedback, negative or positive, of every group I have been, every book, every quiz, etc etc. The Wide Web of Friends is one of my favorites ^_^

This group is active, cheery and well-built! I love it, and the members here are so welcoming, and the moderators are hard workers! Tinted with games and active polls, this group is very popular, and it deserves the attention it gets, in fact, it deserves more, and I know it will get more!
So thank you, for it was my pleasure to be in this group!
Amy.

No problem! ^-^
Hey, I was wondering if I should create a critics folder? That folder will contain posts about critics of books, TV Show, movie books or movies, song etc. Do you think that's a good idea?

message 33: by Rachel , The Attentive One (new)

Rachel (APCB Reviews) (gr8rach) | 8842 comments Mod
yeah that's a great idea!

message 34: by Rucy (new)

Rucy I have a suggestion. I know people on youtube have live google chat discussions and talk about the book that they've read for the month. Could we have like one of those? :) If we're not able to I understand. Just an idea.

I think that would be a bit hard and that that is what the threads are for. Maybe this summer we can try it however when everyone's school work isn't so heavy. Thank you for your feedback. :)

message 36: by Tracey (new)

Tracey Hook Hi I'm Tracey and I'm new to the group. Summer is finally here and I can't wait to start reading something new. My interest are multi-cultural, romance and literature. I would love to get some suggestions from others about what would be good reads for the summer, No pun intended. I'm a goodreads author so I'm on the site quite often. I would love to hear back from all of you. Tell me about some of your favorite books and please make a suggestion about what should be the next thing on my reading list. Looking forward to hearing from ya!

†Reviews of a FearStreetZombie† (fearstreetzombie) Suggestion: (I saw this on facebook)
anyway it's a suggestion for a game.
"You've been transported to the location in the last book you read. Where are you?"

Juliet | 345 comments I have a suggestion, maybe a thread for your favorite John Green book and why it's your favorite.

great suggestions guys!

message 40: by Rekha (new)

Rekha (rekharavikumar) | 5 comments Do we have to read all the books or do we get to choose the one which we want to read? Cuz this is so hard to choose! And Btw great choices!

Theodosia of the Fathomless Hall (taelianaofthewind) | 30 comments Possibly in the "You" folder a thread that says, "What do you read for..." And in which every poster asks the person below them what they read for X. For example,

x--What do you read for... therapy?

b--Pride and Prejudice.
What does [the person below me] read for...escapism?

Sounds good?

Classics are always good. :D. I'd suggest Crown Duel, Shadowfell, Dust Girl, and The Eyre Affair.

You read whatever you want. If you can't read the BOTM then just get involved in the conversations. Talk about your favorite TV show or your favorite Ice Cream.
