We are halfway done with Week 34! You finished your trilogy.

This discussion thread is solely for your progress. (Book discussions go in individual threads.)

Which trilogy did you read?

What is the title of the 3rd book?

Did you enjoy the book?

How was the trilogy? Is there another series you're very interested in?

Krysta (booksaremyfavthing) | 115 comments Which trilogy did you read? Divergent

What is the title of the 3rd book? Allegiant

Did you enjoy the book? Eehh...not as much as the others. I liked the first one the best. The characters changed too much from the 1st to the 3rd for me.

How was the trilogy? Is there another series you're very interested in? It was okay. I read the Hunger Games a couple of years ago and I liked it better.

Jean Cole (joc724) | 115 comments Which trilogy did you read? The Lewis Trilogy: The Blackhouse, The Lewis Man, The Chessmen

What is the title of the 3rd book? The Chessmen

Did you enjoy the book? I did even though the author decided to introduce characters as "best friends" of the main character that surely should have been mentioned earlier in the trilogy. But as a standalone book it was fine.

How was the trilogy? Is there another series you're very interested in? I did enjoy the trilogy -- the characters, the setting and the mysteries. See above. I have discovered another trilogy in a very different genre that I want to finish: The Name of the Wind The Wise Man's Fear and Doors of Stone AKA The Kingkiller Chronicle.

Which trilogy did you read? The Riyria Revelations

What is the title of the 3rd book? Heir of Novron (3rd omnibus, 5-6th books)

Did you enjoy the book?
Yes, a lot, it was far better than the previous ones, which is very nice for a conclusion (and really not the rule for series).

How was the trilogy? Is there another series you're very interested in?
I wasn't appealed by everything and the pace wasn't the best for me but I found the series overall pleasant. It was a nice work with very likable and interesting characters and a good world building.
For other series, Mistborn is high on my list.

What is the title of the 3rd book?Champion

Did you enjoy the book?Yes, I did! Although some parts seemed a little cliché and I didn't like the solutions to some problems (too many "coincidences").

How was the trilogy? Is there another series you're very interested in? In general I enjoyed the trilogy a lot and yes, there is another series that I would like to continue. I read the first one for the week of a "new author" and loved it. I'm talking of the The Farseer Trilogy. I am very interested also in start with The Spook's Apprentice Series and Earthsea series or begin with something by Terry Pratcher.

The Ruby Red Trilogy

What is the title of the 3rd book?

Emerald Green

Did you enjoy the book?

YES! This book was much more exciting than the last two! All the questions I had got answered in this one and it was closed off nicely.

How was the trilogy? Is there another series you're very interested in?

If read together this series is good. If you're reading them and looking at them as individual books they're kind of terrible. There's only one plot line to this series so the books can't stand alone. Almost everything is a series now so there's lots of them I've got my sights on. I'd really like to read Library of Soulsto finish of that trilogy soon.

What is the title of the 3rd book? The Amber Spyglass

Did you enjoy the book? Not really.

How was the trilogy? Is there another series you're very interested in? I am completely unenthused by this trilogy. I found it confusing, the characters were on the whole irritating, and it felt incoherent & clunky. I wouldn't recommend it. I am very much looking forward to reading the A Game of Thrones series - I love the TV series. I'm waiting until the series is completed (both book & TV) though, so I can have them as separate experiences.

Michelle (mich2689) | 122 comments Which trilogy did you read? Dragonlance: Chronicles

What is the title of the 3rd book? Dragons of Spring Dawning

Did you enjoy the book? It was ok. I liked this better than the previous 2 in the trilogy.

How was the trilogy? Is there another series you're very interested in? The trilogy was ok. I think I would have enjoyed it more as a teenager. I'm interested in The Magicians and I also want to finally read the LOTR series.

Sarah | 186 comments Which trilogy did you read? The Alaskan Royal Family series by MaryJanice Davidson

What is the title of the 3rd book? The Royal Mess

Did you enjoy the book? I sure did. I was sad to see it end.

How was the trilogy? Is there another series you're very interested in? I thought it was a cute little trilogy. Each book had just the right amount of funny and cuteness for me! This is a family I would love to meet and spend some time with.
Let see there are so many of them...
I would like to finish The Undead Series by MaryJanice Davidson, The Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton, The Portal series by Maggie Shayne and The Phryne Fisher series by Kerry Greenwood. Just to name a few.

The Dragon Age Series

What is the title of the 3rd book?
Asunder

Did you enjoy the book?
YES. A lot!! :D

How was the trilogy? Is there another series you're very interested in?
It is part of a much larger story and each of the books have (mostly) self-contained stories, but still have the much larger story going on throughout (connected to the games). The series (I cheated and read the first three books in a series) is very good so far, and I can't wait to read the next two! :D
I want to re-read Lord of the Rings soon, so that is the next series I am interested in :)
