The Bridge on the Drina
question
Visual support for the book

Hello!
I'm currently reading Bridge on the Drina, and I have to admit that this book is catching most of my attention and reflections since I have started it. Ottoman occupation of the Balkans is a historical subject that has always intrigued me, and this Mr Andric presents it with such a vivid description, mainly focusing on cultural relations (and conflicts) on everyday life. However, I'd like to have other GoodReads fellows' help on finding visual support for reading this book. Paja Jovanović's paintings are helping me a little, but I don't know how accurate they are. I'd like to see a more detailed images of architecture aspects and outfits.
Guys? Thanks in advance,

You probably already did this, but do a Google search for "Bridge on the Drina", Visegrad,or Drina River and then click on "images". You'll get thousands of images of the bridge and town and can then fine tune the search for more details. Another thing I did is check out the area with Google Earth...you can get a sense of the setting, the ruggedness of the surrounding mountains, and can even gauge where some of the outlying estates they refer to are, as well as where the roads and later the railroad lay.
