“The pure present is an ungraspable advance of the past devouring the future. In truth, all sensation is already memory.

attributes this quote to Haruki Murakami

In fact, he borrowed it from Henri Bergson. I love this quote and would love it more if HM had written it but in all fairness you probably should correct this attribution in fairness to Mr. Bergson.

Sorry your request got missed.

I've changed the attribution and added Matter and Memory as the source (I think that is correct).

Virginia Arthur | 36 comments I am confused. I have a quote by me then it shows up as being from my novel, Birdbrain. It is not.
Can you delete it under "Birdbrain" but keep it under
my own quotes? (Quote lists 3 reasons why humans are the way they are. By me. It is NOT from my novel Birdbrain). It would help if we could just do this stuff ourselves.

Thank you,
