I hope everyone is enjoying this month's selection. Share your thoughts and opinions on Neuromancer by William Gibson here.

Pamela | 79 comments Looks like I am still fighting my cold, on the tail end of it . Don't think I am making it to the meeting. I did read over half of the book. Would have love to the discuss the Matrix and Johnny Mnemonic similarities with you all.

I hope you feel better Pam! However, the awesome thing about Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ is you can take your discussion online! I haven't seen any of these movies; what about the Matrix and Johnny Mnemonic specifically remind you of Neuromancer?

I'm not surprised about the Neuromancer similarities since Johnny Mnemonic is based off of a short story by William Gibson. It looks like Molly, from the Sprawl trilogy, is introduced in this short story.

It also looks like Neuromancer might have inspired The Matrix as well. At least when I do a quick Google search. It's interesting the impact its had on the genre.

Is anyone planning to read the other two books in the Sprawl trilogy?

Pamela | 79 comments Don't think so. At least for me, I couldn't get thru the book.

Pamela | 79 comments I looked thru my notes and sadly I voted for this book.
