I haven't read a really good book in a long time and as you are book lovers as well you can understand. I would like a book that has a killer romance that doesn't leave you wondering how they got there. A slow budding romance that is unshakeable but there. I actually just finished Ricochet and posted my review (P3pp3rp0t's review of Ricochet ). I loved it. it's dark but you don't blink and they're joined at the hip especially since it isn't the primary focus of the read

I'm always leery to recommend in case it's not enjoyed but it does seem to meet your criteria and I hope you find something, even if it's not that.

I'm surprised you got it and read it already. I didn't have any expectations so for me it was a great read.
