For this week I chose Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon. This book is a young adult contemporary. I picked this up because I just wanted something new after DNF'ing the previous book I was reading.

This weeek I read (listened to the audio version) The Ocean at the End of the Lane . I would classify this book as Magical Realism.

I choose this book because I was looking for an audiobook that was available to borrow from my libary and I was interested in trying my second Neli Gaiman book after reading Stardust for Week 10 (an author I feel I should have read by now). Love Loved this book.

I read Metaphysics: A Very Short Introduction.

The genre is non-fiction/science.

I chose this book to fulfill a task for another challenge. My library only carries ~5 of the physical books in the Very Short Introduction series so I chose the one that looked the most interesting.

Why did you choose this one? It kept jumping out at me as one I wanted to read, and since I've got quite a few heavy (both metaphorically and literally) tomes on my plan for the year, I wanted something a bit lighter.

I picked it for this week completely by accident. I had downloaded it to my kindle to read for another challenge I want to do AFTER this one. For some reason I saw it and thought I was reading it for a category here and read it. I was not impressed with myself when I opened up my PLAN and saw that category already filled in. Thank goodness for a Wild Card week to save the day! I think I will check my list BEFORE I start reading afrom now on. :-)

This is nonfiction and a memoir. There are bits of science mixed in with her recollection of her stroke.

I thought it sounded like a compelling story. The writing was not that good. I did not enjoy this.
